Taking place at .ZACK and presented in collaboration with the Recording Academy and Evntiv., Music at the Intersection's 3rd annual conference will focus on Music, Art, Thought and Innovation (M.A.T.I.) and feature a variety of national and St. Louis-based industry leaders. Brothers Lazaroff are bringing Laz Jazz Fest to The Big Top on Saturday, June 29th! In its second year,?Laz Jazz Fest?will expand its footprint with two large, outdoor stages and welcome the legendary avant garde jazz group Sun Ra Arkestra, in addition to the Brothers’ extended musical family of some of St. Louis’ top musical artists. Take a mid-week break with Wednesday Night Jazz Jam, presented by The Kranzberg Arts Foundation. Free and family-friendly, the event celebrates the legacy and the future of St. Louis’ jazz scene, bringing together people of all ages and backgrounds. From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. each Wednesday, Bob DeBoo hosts the Jazz Jam inside The Dark Room at The Grandel. Dreams are coming alive in the Gravois Park neighborhood with St. Louis Art Place Initiative!

We are excited for this partnership! Kicking off this Sunday at Sophie's Artist Lounge. The Festival of Nations and Music at the Intersection are partnering for a free summer series celebrating the diversity and richness of cultures from around the world. Each event will feature live music, unique retail vendors and raffle prizes. Events are free to attend (but RSVPs are appreciated). Cassiana was introduced to Afro-Latin dance in 2017 and has evolved into a teacher, DJ, and sexual violence advocate in their Afro-Latin dance scene. They started and continue to host and DJ Queer Afro-Latin Dance events to create a safe space to dance regardless of gender or identity and to recognize Afro-Latin roots in Latin dance music.?
