We’d like to congratulate Tom Wachuta on his retirement after an incredible career with Kraemer Brothers. Tom joined us in 1991 as a Laborer, but his exceptional carpentry skills quickly advanced him to Journeyman Carpenter. His 34 years of dedication made him one of the longest-tenured carpenters on our team. Thank you for your hard work, commitment, and craftsmanship, Tom! Enjoy your retirement—you've earned it!

  • A Timeless Tribute to 75 Years of Craftsmanship To commemorate 75 years of excellence, Kraemer Brothers partnered with River Valley High School to create a custom-made clock—a tribute to more than seven decades of superior craftsmanship. This project was a true collaboration from start to finish. It began with our special 75th-anniversary logo, designed by our friends at Lion Tree Group, which we envisioned as the perfect focal point for the clock. After selecting an ideal location near other commemorative items in the office, our Finished Carpentry Superintendent provided expertise and materials, choosing a ?” rough-sawn oak piece as the foundation. Meanwhile, our marketing and business development teams worked closely with Carla Carmody, RVHS Technology Education Instructor, to ensure the design honored the Kraemer Brothers’ legacy. Bringing this vision to life required teamwork. An independent-study student at River Valley High School worked alongside Tech Ed instructors Ms. Carmody and Mr. Wunnicke, combining their skills to transform raw materials into a meaningful symbol of quality, craftsmanship, and tradition. The final piece not only reflects the dedication of those involved but also reinforces the long-standing connection between Kraemer Brothers and a school that many of our team members once called home. Like our projects and partnerships, this clock is built to stand the test of time.

  • Honoring Women in Construction As this week comes to a close, we would like to honor the incredible women—past and present—who have been essential to Kraemer Brothers' success. Whether on the job site, in the office, or behind the scenes in coordination, administration, and project management, their dedication and expertise have upheld the craftsmanship and excellence that define our work. For over 77 years, women at Kraemer Brothers have not only helped build structures but have also strengthened the very foundation of our company. Their contributions are reflected in every project, every milestone, and every success we’ve achieved. To all the women who have been part of our journey—your hard work is valued, your impact is recognized, and your legacy continues to inspire. #WICWeek #WomeninConstructionWeek2025

  • Wisconsin Dells' newest resort, Dellshire, is starting to take shape! Located on the former Fort Dells theme park site, the nearby natural bluffs and wooded area will recapture that local history and give life to a new resort. This resort will feature a medieval theme. Upon entering the majestic land, Golspar, a 60-foot fire-breathing dragon, will protect the Shire. Currently, foundations are being poured, and our masons are constructing the exterior bearing walls. Meanwhile, our carpenters are starting to frame up the structure with prefabricated wall panels, floor trusses, and sheathing. Four months after breaking ground on an addition and renovation at its Surgery Center, Sauk Prairie Healthcare is adding another project in their Birthing Center. This new surgery expansion project will add four operating rooms and the support spaces for the department. In the Birthing Center, an existing office, family waiting room, and exam room are being converted into two LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum) rooms, a nursery, and an office. Our crews are currently demolishing walls, flooring, and ceilings in this area to prepare for underground rough-ins and framing the new layout. HGA #ConstructionManagement #HealthcareConstruction
