?? IT LEADERS: The most powerful tool for your work isn't in your tech stack—it's emotionally intelligent leadership in times of change. I witnessed this transformation while facilitating a full-day workshop for 45 top tech leaders at IEEE this week. I shared my signature #KeynoteLab topic "Leadership is Neuroscience" and infused the day with active, experiential exercises to bring learning to life. Two interesting insights emerged: 1?? "Not having enough time" isn't an excuse. It's a symptom of misalignment in understanding the activities that drive value. We recalibrated what it means to be strategic business partners, then used Start/Stop/Continue to create for meaningful transformation over 30-60-90 days. 2?? Energy is a tangible force in the workplace. We worked through several interpersonal tools for leaders to be able to communicate more strategically with their teams—enhancing clarity and momentum. What a privilege it was to co-teach a second AI+EQ class with Zena Drakou offered by Texas Executive Education last week! Together, we guided diverse group of leaders from private and public sectors as they explored the dynamic interplay between human and artificial intelligence. We challenged participants to examine what it really takes to implement these disruptive technologies effectively. We pushed boundaries, questioned assumptions, tested out different GPTs, and collectively navigated both the inspiring possibilities and legitimate concerns that come with AI's rapidly evolving landscape. Today's revelation: One team member loves diving deep into complex problems and having a routine, so they naturally show appreciation by offering focused time to help others tackle challenges.
