Very hyped to launch KORUS (fan-remix platform) on Telegram Messenger this week. Telegram has over 1bn users and combines some interesting mechanisms with social, messaging and crypto features baked into the platform. This is just the start as we begin to port the KORUS platform into new ecosystems, enabling artists to reach new fans and monetise. It is all powered by the KOR Protocol which is an IP infrastructure that enables rightsholders to protect and grow their IP through new use cases including fractional real-time licensing in UGC, monetising through AI and games. Finalising steps to launch the IP asset registry on KOR Protocol The KOR Asset Registry and Licensing Module is a cornerstone of the KOR Protocol, designed to empower rightsholders by simplifying the process of registering, managing, and licensing intellectual property with automated royalty splits. The platform allows creators to securely register their assets, such as art, music, videos, text, 3D files and other digital creations. It provides a seamless way to define and enforce customizable licensing terms at scale, ensuring fair usage and compensation through a streamlined platform and suite of tools that can be integrated across a growing network of products. By integrating blockchain technology, the module eliminates traditional barriers to IP ownership and licensing, enabling a frictionless & transparent environment for collaboration, remixing, and monetization. ? Protecting Creative Ownership - Creators can register their work, ensuring proof of ownership. - AI-generated and human-created works can be transparently traced to their original authors. - Provides a system to license creative works for training AI models, ensuring creators are compensated for their contributions. ?? Enabling Transparent Licensing - Creators can define clear licensing terms (e.g., for commercial use, non-commercial use, remixing). - Licensing terms are enforced automatically through smart contracts. ?? This is a marvellous example of co-creation, redefining music engagement by enabling fans and creators to connect and create. Exciting work by Inder Phull and the team. ?? Cyanite is now integrated into MusicMaster, Inc., Germany’s leading radio scheduling software. This partnership enhances radio programming by using AI-powered metadata to ensure precise and seamless playlists. Congratulations to Markus Schwarzer and the Cyanite team! This is a great example of AI improving operational processes in the music industry. ?? un:hurd music has teamed up with Fiverr to offer artists a curated marketplace of music professionals, such as designers, and videographers. This partnership simplifies access to essential creative services, helping emerging artists scale their careers. This is a great example of tech breaking down barriers for music creators. Plastikman and Dixon release their edits of EXhale Transmoderna launches an exclusive new song from Dixon & Trikk (aka Tri/xon) Sound of Fractures releases his latest single! Each of these artists are visionaries in their own right, constantly pushing boundaries and exploring new frontiers for music, art and technology. Imogen has also opened up the possibilities for users to commercially release their music by registering their songs on her Auracles platform. I'm very excited not only to work with legends but to share so much great new music in an interactive format. I grew up inspired by everything Imogen did and does, she was the reason I began my journey in blockchain so this is a beautiful full circle moment for me personally but also an important next step for the music industry to find new models. Next week 4 iconic artists are launching new remixable, interactive songs on KORUS with the licenses and royalties onchain powered by KOR Protocol First up is Plastikman (aka Richie Hawtin), our legendary founder and one of the most influential figures in the electronic music industry.
