We are excited to announce the hiring of Sudipta Bishop as Director of Technical. Sudipta holds a PhD in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and brings over 20 years of experience in R&D, Innovation, Process Technologies, and Leadership with companies such as Celanese, Eastman Chemicals, and Clariant. In her role as Technical Director, Sudipta will work with our technical team to bring new and innovative products to our customers while supporting our manufacturing efficiencies and quality. She will also work to create sustainable products and provide environmentally responsible operations. Sudipta lives in Jefferson County (near Louisville) with her Tennessean husband, John Andrew Bishop, and a set of awesome teenage fraternal twins, Om and Rasa, who keep John and her on their toes. She was a professional singer at an early age and currently leads the Louisville Indian Cultural Society as a lead vocalist. Sudipta currently mentors five young professionals through the Louisville Leadership Council and tnAchieves in Tennessee, as well as the Women in Chemical Engineering (WIC) division in the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE). We’re thrilled to recognize Randy Yates' 20-year anniversary with Koroseal this year! Randy has been an essential part of our Louisville team for two decades, with an impressive range of skills. As a certified forklift driver and an experienced operator on Printer 6, Printer 7, Printer 8, and Printer 9, he consistently contributes to our production efficiency. Additionally, Randy serves on our Safety team and is CPR-certified, highlighting his commitment to maintaining a safe workplace. Outside of work, Randy enjoys spending time outdoors in local parks, working on cars, creating small woodworking projects, and attending drag car racing events. Born in Fairbanks, Alaska, and raised in Kentucky, Randy has built a wonderful life with his wife of 28 years. Together, they have three children, five grandchildren, and look forward to welcoming their first great-grandchild in March 2025.
