I'm on the train, heading back to Detroit from the Psychic Fever concert in Chicago this weekend, feeling completely reinvigorated. It took me back to my early days in L.A., where I started my massage career working with dancers, entertainment professionals, and musicians. I’ve always loved the energy of live shows—seeing months of hard work come together for an electrifying 2.5-hour performance. I remember the long hours, the aching necks, backs, hands, and shoulders—the toll that rehearsals, sound checks, dance practices, and tech runs take. Providing those quick 5- to 10-minute moments of relief between sets was something I truly enjoyed. The industry is a world of moving parts, from stagehands and tour managers to the artists themselves, and I miss being a part of it. This concert made me seriously consider reviving Beats & Balance this year. The energy, the connections, the passion—I miss it all. Thank you Konnect'd Entertainment for such a great show, it was the inspiration I needed. Here’s to healing music, massage, and mental health all 2025. ??????♀??
