A little midweek whoo hooo! We welcome six new Indie Agency News members! First, it's quench agency. This PA-based indie does remarkable work in the food and beverage space. They even have a fab food and bevvie trend report at their home page. Get at it! Next, we add to our growing Los Angeles membership with KOLLECTIFF and Quality Experience. The former? I have a feeling we'll nerd out on some really interesting stuff. The latter? We see you, Ari Weiss! We love where you're taking the agency and can't wait to dig in with you! Then we make our way to Chicago and BackPocket Agency, doing all the things content marketing, and focusing on being joyful about it. We swing on back to Indie Agency News HQ, Portland, Oregon and the Alt League. We're super-stoked to have Liz Valentine and Meredith Chase on board. Tons of experience and no shortage of amazing opinions. And finally, we're amped that we welcome Giant Spoon, one of the indie OGs to the family. Jonathan Haber, can't thank you enough. We're so lucky to have a partner like Pedigree who consistently gives us the opportunities to bring attention to adoptable dogs in the most innovative ways. Props to Katie Young for bringing this all together so quickly and our partners Kollectiff for delivering once again!

We partnered with Energy BBDO and Pinguim Content to create an innovative experience that helps kids across the world feel represented by their favorite cartoons. Using Luna’s character as our subject, our CTO Emiliano Billi created a system leveraging computer vision techniques and machine learning for cartoon animations, to overlay a series of personalized skin conditions designed by our graphic team. It’s been a true pleasure to establish this partnership with such an incredible group of people, that are equally excited to keep pushing the boundaries of emerging technology in advertising. Kids look up to their favorite cartoons and TV characters as heroes, but for kids with uncommon skin conditions like eczema, scars and burns, it means so much more when they see someone they idolize with the same kind of skin as them. This is the main insight behind “Muestra Tu Marca” (in English “Skin Like Me”), the new global project by Bepanthen, made with the help from our amazing partners: EnergyBBDO Chicago, Kollectiff and Pinguim Content’s "El Mundo de Luna". We began our mission in Mexico, empowering kids with skin conditions so they feel confident and fairly represented. How? With a breakthrough tool we developed with Energy BBDO, which lets parents and kids customize Luna's face from a library of different skin conditions. This tool uses A.I. facial-mapping technology to generate nearly 1M unique episodes of "El Mundo de Luna", a hit series in Mexico, allowing children to see themselves represented in a face they know and love: Luna.
