The whistleblower law firm behind the largest whistleblower rewards in world history.
关于我们
Kohn, Kohn & Colapinto, based in Washington, D.C., is the nation’s leading law firm for whistleblower protection. We stand up in court for those who speak out against fraud and illegal practices on the job. Our track record for protecting these whistleblowers, setting important national precedent, and obtaining successful judgments is unparalleled. KKC has won landmark cases in federal and state courts, before administrative agencies and in jury trials. We obtained the largest whistleblower reward ever granted to an individual employee in the history of the United States, $104 million dollar reward to a UBS bank whistleblower. As experts in employee litigation, our attorneys focus on the many complex statutes that today are at issue in whistleblower cases, including the qui tam provision of the False Claims Act, which encourages workers to report government contract fraud. With clients from both the public and private sectors, we also pursue actions involving wrongful dismissal, the Dodd-Frank Act, which protects and rewards employees who report fraud in securities and commodities, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and IRS tax whistleblower rewards. In?a new paper,?KKC's Stephen M. Kohn argues for a “Reverse Marshall Plan” in which Western democracies roll out an effective international anti-corruption regime which can respond to any reduction in the United States’ enforcement of the FCPA. “The OECD Anti-Bribery Convention, and the numerous FCPA laws already on the books, create a powerful foundation to amend and strengthen existing anti-corruption laws,” Kohn writes. “Modernized and enforced FCPAs can generate billions in income, while holding anyone who pays or receives a bribe accountable. European and other democracies can reverse any setback in anti-corruption enforcement, if they have the will to do so.”

Kohn, who has?advocated for funding fixes to the CFTC Whistleblower Program. “While this action by Congress is an important step, longer-term funding solutions are needed to ensure the CFTC Whistleblower Program can continue to thrive moving forward,” adds Kohn.
