More than 200 associates gathered for authentic Indian food and henna tattoos thanks to our Namaste business resource group dedicated to sharing Indian culture and traditions. Four days of pure ?MAGIC? at the 2024 Global Wellness Summit! Congratulations to our Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa team who hosted this year’s event in St. Andrews, Scotland. The annual summit brought together wellness experts from around the world for inspiring conversations and immersive experiences to impact and shape the future of global wellness industries. Kohler Wellness leaders Nina B. Kohler and Ashley Kohler joined in the action, delivering keynote speeches and hosting interactive sessions. Dr. Jonathan Leary, who recently partnered with Kohler to develop The Ice Bath x Remedy Place, also shared his insights. This year’s theme, A Watershed Moment for Wellness, focused on the importance of protecting our water resources and explored the recent explosion of interest in hydrotherapy bathing, saunas, hot springs, cold immersion, and wild swimming. Georgina Ozga-Dortch has witnessed a great deal of change. When she started at Kohler as a bookkeeper in 1974, she processed payroll manually on keypunch cards and communicated with coworkers via handwritten notes and typed letters in inter-office mail. Fast forward 20 years and personal computers were introduced, followed by mobile phones. Over Georgina’s 50-year career, one thing has remained constant—her inspiring work ethic and commitment to Kohler’s mission. And this year, she became the 91st Kohler associate to celebrate a half century of service. Throughout her tenure, she has been instrumental in many departments, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and most recently, Sales, where she has been a key part of the foundation of our builder channel. With a career spanning five decades (and counting!), Georgina’s achievements are extraordinary and will continue to make an impact for years to come. Over the past year, we’ve had the pleasure of hosting 14 student interns at our Kohler Innovation Center in the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign’s Research Park. ?? Here, students work on forward-thinking projects directly tied to our business needs—everything from data analytics and smart factories, to AI, machine learning, and robotics—all with the goal of enhancing our product quality and process efficiency.
