Last night, I had the opportunity to introduce my favorite charity, Gold Star Teen Adventures (GSTA), to #SATX. GSTA provides mentorship, leadership and character development, resilience training and team building for the children of our nation’s military, first responders and intelligence community who lost their lives. Kent Solheim, founder of GSTA, and a few of the Gold Star Teens who participate in these programs, shared their stories and the impact this organization has made in their lives. A HUGE thank you to all who came out to support our first annual event to include: Dr. Chaunté, COPT Defense Properties , Aetos LLC, Inflow, Knowmadics, Dr. Kekai Namauu, FEDITC - Federal IT Consulting, Make It Happen, CNF Technologies, and IntelliGenesis LLC!
