In the final video of this four-part series, Sherry Phillips sat down with Rachel Vreeman, Chair of the Dept of Global Health at Mount Sinai, and Kaycee Kalpin, Chief Marketing Officer of Premier Inc., at the 12th annual Forbes Power Women’s Summit to talk about how women healthcare executives are poised to help to increase trust and morale in the industry. Presented by Premier Inc. Rachel: “I have seen women in healthcare approach the specific needs of a community, especially communities that have been marginalized. Women are listening, they’re asking questions, they’re trying to really understand what families need.”

This week I interviewed Sheryl Sandberg on the new LeanIn and McKinsey Women in the Workplace study. A key insight - ?focusing on the growth of entry-level women may be the key to gender parity in corporate America. I asked Sandberg – who wrote?Lean In in 2013 - what she would add if she were rereleasing her book this year considering the new data, “If I would be releasing it this year, I would say that we need to have a longer attention span. We can't do a push on racial equality for 2021 and 2022 and then have it fall off.. If you look at sexual harassment, it's actually going up not down. I feel like we start these things, we have racial reckoning moments or the Me Too moment, and then we just kind of lose focus. We need to have a longer attention span. This is long term work. It's going to take long term focus.” My new piece: https://lnkd.in/efDr4QsM
