KBGCNA is proud to be a part of an amazing team that continues to make a difference around the globe. #TeamKnorrBremse
?? 20 Years of Driving Change! ?? Today marks a significant milestone: 20 years since the founding of our organization by employees of Knorr-Bremse, initiated by Heinz Hermann Thiele and his daughter, Julia Thiele-Schürhoff, Chairperson of our Executive Board. ? ?? Over the past two decades, we have evolved from providing immediate emergency aid to prioritizing measurable impacts and building strategic partnerships. Through our culturally sensitive local entities around the globe, we continue to serve communities with care and dedication. ? ?? As a learning organization, we consistently challenge our own approaches and those of our partners. This reflective process has transformed us from being merely an external financial donor into a sparring partner—a true enabling organization. ? ?? This incredible journey would not have been possible without the contributions of the colleagues of Knorr-Bremse worldwide, our competent partner organizations, and dedicated project beneficiaries. Together, we have embraced new perspectives, navigated challenges, celebrated successes, and created a path uniquely our own. ? ?? Our deepest gratitude goes out to: Knorr-Bremse AG, Knorr-Bremse Rail Vehicle Systems and Knorr-Bremse Systeme für Nutzfahrzeuge GmbH for providing indispensable financial, personnel, and infrastructural support. Our strategic partners—AMANDLA Social Enterprises, German Toilet Organization, DEIN MüNCHEN gGmbH, Instituto Anchieta Grajau, and Masifunde—for helping us break new ground. Our most longstanding project partners, like World Vision Germany, Stiftung Menschen für Menschen - Karlheinz B?hms ?thiopienhilfe, or Don Bosco Mondo, whose unwavering collaboration has been instrumental. Our current and past members, employees and supporters in any kind. Together, we look forward to the opportunities and impacts of the years to come. ?? #TeamKnorrBremse #OneWorldOneKB Sylvia Bytow-Weissheimer, Anna Kammerer, Ruth K?hler, Julia Thiele-Schürhoff, Mario Beinert, Andreas Wimmer, Eva Seifert, Rasso B?ck, Alexandra Rappl, Martyn Perkins, Maria Gutierrez, Ana Domingues, Natalia M., Rupali Agarwal, Ludwig Otter, Gabriele Richter, Laszlo Szentmarjay
