As we head into the Players Championship next week, it marks one year since we started real discussions with the PGA TOUR around a partnership with our team at Knockaround. Fast forward a year and we are now the Official Eyewear of the PGA TOUR, have expanded our partnership to 4 players and 12 caddies, are now sold in the Fan Shops of most tour events as the exclusive sunglasses under $150, have seen our golf wholesale business explode, and, next week, we will not only launch in the Players fan shop but also will be the exclusive premium gift with purchase. All of that in just a short, whirlwind year but it’s just the beginning and the pace is picking up rather than slowing down as we execute our view that speed is a competitive advantage. It has been shocking and heartbreaking to see the wildfire devastation happening to our Southern California neighbors in Los Angeles. In places like Altadena and Pacific Palisades, communities have been ravaged in a matter of days. Unfortunately, the fire threat continues for much of the area. All over Los Angeles there are thousands of people in need of help. Knockaround had an unforgettable experience at this year’s TCS New York City Marathon. From connecting with racers at the expo to joining the Pitch and Run NYC shakeout run, it was incredible to be part of such a vibrant running community. We loved seeing our sunglasses make the cut in so many pre-race outfit checks, and witnessing the Knockaround spirit on the course was something special. A huge thanks to everyone who stopped by and shared in the excitement. We can’t wait to return next year to support, celebrate, and, of course, cheer for every runner.
