?? Involving Children and Young People - A Deep Dive! ? Across the world, children and young people are deeply concerned about the climate crisis and are calling for greater representation in climate governance. Despite representing almost a third of the world’s population, most under-18s have no direct say in the rules and laws governing their lives or deciding who gets to make them. At this year’s Spring School on Climate Citizens’ Assemblies, we’re taking a crucial step forward. In partnership with the Child Rights International Network - CRIN, we’re adding an extra day dedicated to exploring how to meaningfully involve young people in climate deliberation. This full-day workshop will build on the KNOCA - Knowledge Network on Climate Assemblies guidance to present a children’s rights-based framework for designing and delivering deliberative democratic processes with children and young people. ??
