A Registered Student Organization at UCF aimed at expanding the accessibility of affordable housing in Greater Orlando

We are a community service based RSO providing UCF students opportunities to collaborate and network with non profit organizations in Orlando while also building up affordable housing in our community. Members are able to go out on job sites and learn essential skills while building meaningful relationships and helping those in need. The organizations we partner with include Habitat for Humanity, HomeAid, Rebuilding Together, Second Harvest Food Bank, Covenant House, and Harbor House. Any volunteer work done thorough Knights Build can be signed off on and used for UCF requirements. No prior experience is required.

Had a great time taking a group of UCF students to construct a house in Broward County. Being able to help the underprivileged was a huge privilege in itself! Forming connections with the coordinators of Habitat for Humanity of Broward and meeting the other volunteers from across the state was an exciting opportunity! The Habitat chapters of Massachusetts & New York were well organized and inspiring to see. Representing Knights Build at UCF during this year’s collegiate challenge made for an unforgettable Spring Break. Thank you to everyone who made this possible, especially to the future homeowners that have put 650+ sweat equity hours to make this house come to life.
