The Sonoran Studio is set to become Arizona’s first certified Living Building, a groundbreaking achievement in sustainable architecture. Selected by the Architectural Resource Team for its superior quality and sustainability, Knauf EcoBatt?insulation played a crucial role in achieving optimal thermal performance to meet the Living Building Challenge (LBC) standards for net-zero energy and carbon neutrality. Knauf insulation is also Red-List free, ensuring it contains no harmful chemicals like formaldehyde or phenol. This project sets a new standard for eco-friendly construction in desert climates and showcases the power of innovative design and sustainable materials.
