The Knapp Community Care Foundation is a private foundation dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in the Rio Grande Valley’s Mid-Valley community. Since its establishment in 2013, the foundation has focused on funding partner organizations that play a vital role in improving and sustaining residents' long-term health and well-being, with a strong emphasis on addressing the social determinants of health (SDOH). To date, the foundation has distributed more than $54 million in grant funding, supporting a wide range of health-related initiatives.

Co-hosting this incredible event with the Valley Baptist Legacy Foundation in the Mid-Valley at the Knapp Conference Center in Weslaco was an honor.
It has been said that knowledge can never be taken away, but the best way to retain it is to practice what you've learned. On September 14th, 59 people in Weslaco, Texas learned how to teach emotional recovery and coping skills to those along the US/Mexico border. These community helpers are part of non-profits, churches, and community health organizations. Harper Hill Global led the training with a team of English and Spanish-speaking trainers.
