The expansion of our cleanroom at Brainport Industries Campus marks a major step in achieving KMWE Group’s circular economy goals. Thanks to our collaboration with SRBA Group, ABN Cleanroom Technology NV, and PNO Consultants - Nederland, we are reducing our ecological footprint and ensuring a sustainable future. We are eager to share our experiences and case studie to help other companies benefit from similar sustainable advancements. Through this collaboration businesses can explore how the energy-efficient #VIX concept contributes to achieving both sustainability goals and financial advantages. A short recap: companies in the Netherlands can apply for subsidies based on energy efficiency. Recently, ABN Cleanroom Technology’s energy-efficient VIX concept was officially recognized as qualifying for an energy investment allowance subsidy. We zijn super trots op onze collega Edwin van Hak, winnaar van de Noordhofprijs 2024 in de categorie Zij-instroom Vaktalent! Met een loopbaan die begon als sous-chef, maakte Edwin een inspirerende carrièreswitch naar de techniek. Via een werk-leertraject bij Summa Techniek ontwikkelt hij zich nu als monteur bij KMWE. Dagelijks bouwt hij complete machines en toont hij precisie en leergierigheid op de werkvloer. De jury loofde zijn vermogen om complexe taken snel eigen te maken en zijn behulpzame, positieve houding. Edwin laat zien dat een nieuwe start in de techniek mogelijk én waardevol is. Tijdens de uitreiking benadrukte Edwin het belang van gelijke kansen in de sector, ook voor zij-instromers, en de uitdagingen die hij daarbij tegenkwam. Wij zijn trots dat Edwin ervoor koos om zijn carrièrepad bij KMWE voort te zetten. Met dank aan Summa, die hem met hun werk-leertraject de kans geeft om zich als zij-instromer te ontwikkelen. Naast Edwin willen we ook onze andere genomineerden in de schijnwerpers zetten: Ruud Rondeel, metrology specialist, en ???????? ????????????, mechanisch bankwerker.
