A simple demonstration Video of Gas Guard V.2 ??

I'm excited to share a demonstration video of my project, Gas Guard V.2 ?? In this video, a lighter is used to simulate a gas leak. Notably, the system operates independently of external power sources due to its built-in backup power supply. Upon activation, the device displays the sensor values, reflecting the air quality around it. Initially, the sensor values are slightly elevated but stabilize as the device adapts to its environment. When the air quality is normal, a green LED indicates safety. Conversely, if a gas leak or smoke is detected, a red LED and buzzer are activated, and an SMS alert is sent to the homeowner's mobile phone. This alert system continues until the air quality returns to normal, which is why two SMS alerts are sent in the video. Introducing Gas Guard V.2 ?? This iteration includes several significant enhancements over the previous model. By leveraging a newly designed PCB, we have achieved a notable reduction in both the size and weight of the device. Additionally, the power consumption has been optimized—moving from two 3.7V lithium-ion batteries with a 12V input to a single lithium-polymer battery with a 5V input.
