In July 1953, Channel 8 News NOW, became the first television station in the state of Nevada. Over the years, the owners and employees of Channel 8 News NOW have maintained their commitment to viewers. We continually are discovering ways to add firsts offering viewers the best coverage possible. We not only deliver local news through our traditional newscasts, we offer more ways of receiving our local news than any other news gathering organization in Southern Nevada.
