关于我们
We’re dedicated to ending the staggering burden of loneliness in older adult communities. We created Klaatch's Social Quotient (SQ) platform, employing NLP, AI, and machine learning to comprehensively measure an individual's loneliness susceptibility and severity, including identifying associated self-protective/self-centered behaviors. The SQ then provides personalized solutions and matches them with suitable programs and interventions to facilitate reintegration into the community.

Let's work together to improve the quality of life for our seniors!
The impact of loneliness is so clear. Here is another paper on the connection between social connection and dementia-- showing that social activity may delay the onset of dementia by up to 5-YEARS!!! About one-third of adults are lonely and nearly 1 out of 2 low income adults. We can pay a small amount now to build community or we can pay a huge amount later for dementia care. Seems like the common sense choice is obvious! Social activity may delay the onset of dementia by years - Earth.com #loneliness #seniorliving #community Lois Drapin Sandy Markwood Michelle Missler Jeremy Nobel Jennifer Truppa Natasha Ofosu Melissa Harris Nina Santarelli Link to the study: https://lnkd.in/gqSZgFXF

The design of your common space gives your residents hidden messages about how much you want social connectivity.?Just because a space is beautiful doesn’t mean it isn’t actively encouraging isolation.?Senior living communities can use design to shape the kinds of social moments that enable richer, more meaningful human connections in your resident’s lives. Well-connected older adults live 5 years longer than their lonely neighbors, driving longer length of stay and higher occupancy. If your interested in learning how Klaatch can use space optimization analytics to drive social connection, let’s set up a time to discuss your community. https://lnkd.in/g5TVRXZj #optimization #seniorliving #innovation #socialconnection #smartdesign

Intriguing article in The New York Times that raises many questions about #loneliness and possible approaches to better addressing the issue. Klaatch is committed to making #seniorliving #communities more socially connected!
https://lnkd.in/g_G_aGKp https://lnkd.in/gsUHb8qn Is our approach to loneliness fundamentally flawed? Recent NYT articles expose the epidemic's complexity, particularly in Matthew Shaer's "Why Is the Loneliness Epidemic So Hard to Cure?" Telling someone to "just get out there" is like treating a hangry person with anger management classes—it misses the point entirely. Loneliness isn't just feeling alone; it breeds a complex mix of emotions and self-protective behaviors. These "habits of loneliness"—distrust, withdrawal, and social anxiety—are symptoms, not causes. We need to leverage technology to understand these nuances and tailor our responses. The cure isn't pushing for more social interactions, but fostering meaningful connections that address the root causes. It's time for a paradigm shift: smarter, personalized strategies that truly resonate with those experiencing loneliness. #Loneliness #MentalHealth #Connection
