This Women’s Month, I celebrate the resilience, evolution, and limitless potential of women in business. Here’s to chasing dreams and creating impact! Becoming an entrepreneur has been a dream of mine since I was young, although I never imagined I would be working in the field of Innovation and Design. With a background in Human Services, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication, a Master’s in Human Resources and Management, and I’ve completed coursework for a PhD in Higher Education. I paused my dissertation due to the rising costs of education, but I always felt a need for a creative outlet. My journey took an exciting turn when I started helping my then 15-year-old daughter with her dessert business by making custom stands for her cake pops. That experience ignited my design spark. From there, I began decorating events, focusing on adding unique pieces to create one-of-a-kind elements. As a self-taught woodworker and laser fabricator, I incorporated these custom elements into my events. In 2024, I expanded our services to include branding because I realized that entrepreneurs needed guidance on how to elevate their brands. We now offer business branding courses alongside creative design classes, allowing me to leverage my education and design experience to enhance businesses. This is an exciting journey that enables me to touch many lives, and I couldn’t be happier.
