Kiwanis Club of Delray Beach

The Delray Beach Kiwanis Club is a great organization of community leaders and service-minded individuals of all ages that have joined together for fellowship, networking, and community outreach. Delray Beach Sunrise Kiwanis focuses on helping kids and provides school scholarships and sponsors the local Key Club and Builders Club at American Heritage School and Atlantic High School in order to teach students the importance of giving back to the community. We also provide Thanksgiving turkey dinners and clothing to needy families, Provide a "Reading Oasis" for schools, we Adopt-A-Family for Christmas, Police Appreciation events, we support Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse (AVDA), and participate in events such as Relay for Life, the Buddy Walk, and Feed Palm Beach County to name just a few of our service projects. Our club sponsors a Little League Baseball Team and a Softball Team, and provide books for local elementary schools. We also support many other charitable organizations such as: The Florida & International Kiwanis Foundations, the Horses for the Handicapped, Ronald McDonald House, Forgotten Soldiers, the American Cancer Society, Gold Coast Down Syndrome Association, and the Miracle League. In the process of giving, members get back too. Members achieve personal satisfaction through service to others. They gain fellowship, information, inspiration, personal and professional development from club meetings and projects. They get to feel good about their contribution to making Delray Beach just a little better place to live.
