Back to School Giveaway Winners have been announced! Liam Ogorek and Raya Wagner are the winners of the Back to School Backpack Giveaway sponsored by Kittson Healthcare Public Health and Kathy Phelps. Each child that completed a well child check or sports physical at either of the Hallock or Karlstad Clinics during July and August were entered into the drawing. The backpacks were filled with fun school supplies and accessories! Congratulations Liam and Raya! Even Millie (our favorite furry friend) got to enjoy a golf cart ride this week! We've taken advantage of the beautiful weather and sunshine to go for rides around town. Residents that didn't want a golf cart ride, stayed inside to play Yahtzee!

Summer crafts are in full swing! Nursing home residents recently enjoyed painting flower and sun forms. They picked their favorite colors and style of brush to complete their masterpieces. Wrapped up our busy National Skilled Nursing Care Week and we had special four legged guests! Huge thanks to Jon Carlson and Britt Slusar from Last Chance Trading Post for giving our residents and staff rides around town with the Clydesdales! KCC Elementary students sang musical selections and did a flower pot painting project with our nursing home and assisted living residents. Young and old alike were all smiles!
