Kits for a Cause is a social enterprise that engages group volunteering through kit packing events for charity. Group bonding, team building and making an impact - let us help you! Here’s how it works: We engage your team or group by giving you the tools and resources to build kits for charities! More and more we see organizations, charities, and social services (like homeless shelters, youth services, patient programs, women’s shelters, the list goes on and on) need hygiene products, warm clothing, school supplies, etc.; Kits is the solution! The best part is that because we’re a division of the Bargains Group (Canada’s favourite bargain wholesaler), every dollar goes further than if you were to buy it yourself. This means more impact on the charity of your choice! We can do a kit for any cause you can think of and we work hand in hand with 1000s of charities from across the country. The goal? Create a world where charities can make a larger impact by using their budgets for innovation, thanks to the efforts of an engaged corporate culture!

Last Sunday was a big day for the JEWELS community! Since December, we've been collecting donations in preparation for our Winter Survival Kit Packing Event. In partnership with Kits for a Cause, founded by our JEWELS mentor Jody Steinhauer, we successfully raised over $2,000 and assembled more than 140 winter survival kits for donation to Ve'ahavta. These kits, filled with essentials like warm clothing, toiletries, and food items, are designed to provide warmth and support to those experiencing homelessness in Toronto during the cold winter months. This event wouldn't have been possible without the hard work and generosity of our community. It was incredible to see people of all ages come out to help. Your energy and commitment truly demonstrate what we can achieve together. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this event a huge success!
