We’re proud to share that our CEO, William Cromarty, last week graduated from the final session of the SD Soybean Genesis Leadership Program. This program—crafted through a partnership between South Dakota Agricultural and Rural Leadership Foundation and the SD Soybean Research & Promotion Council/SD Soybean Association—is dedicated to cultivating strong leaders within the soybean industry. A huge thank you to Mustang Seeds for hosting the group and giving us an inside look at their cutting-edge agricultural robotics for seed sorting and packaging. Seeing innovation in action reinforces how critical advanced technology is in ensuring efficiency and resilience across our agricultural supply chain. Gedeon is currently pursuing his B.S. in Electrical Engineering at North Dakota State University and brings a strong foundation in embedded systems, IoT sensor integration, and sensor data fusion—key areas that drive our mission forward. His hands-on experience in circuit analysis, C programming, and MATLAB, along with his leadership roles in organizations like the National Society of Black Engineers, make him a great addition to the team. ? Earlier this week at the 2025 Cyberbiosecurity Summit, our?CEO William Cromarty joined an elite group of #cybersecurity, #biotech, and critical infrastructure experts to discuss the evolving threat landscape at the intersection of cybersecurity and #biotechnology. ? One of the most eye-opening moments? Terry Reinert , CEO of Fleet Defender, Inc. delivered a live demonstration showing how he could remotely hack into farm machinery using just $30 of off-the-shelf hardware—manipulating performance and output in real-time. This stark reminder of the vulnerabilities in connected systems underscores why early detection, real-time monitoring, and robust security protocols are no longer optional in agriculture, biotech, and critical infrastructure. ?
