Today and tomorrow, you can catch several members of the Kirksey team at the EdSpaces conference in Houston! Just this morning, Kirksey's Managing Director, PK-12 Practice, Nicola Springer, AIA, LEED AP, and talented PK12 design expert, Brian T., presented "Talking Back: a Language of Tension, Engagement, and Change" - a discussion on effective communication and Community Engagement strategies, which we employed at our Yellowstone Schools project. This afternoon, Nicola joins Humble ISD Kingwood Middle School's Principal, Michael Curls, and Instructional Coach, Kelly Wells, in a presentation titled "A Principal's Guide to Your New School." The topic explores ways architecture can help teachers and students optimize the use of their new facility. And tomorrow, you can join the Kirksey crew on the afternoon's Higher Ed EDfacility Tours! Both San Jacinto College Anderson Ball Classroom Building and The University of Houston, Sciences & Technology Building are on the schedule. #kirkseypeople #kirkseyprojects

The new Shriners Children's Texas Patient Family Housing facility is now open in Galveston! We are so proud to be part of the Shriners Children's story and provide a comfortable, welcoming place for families experiencing the upheaval and challenges of caring for a sick child. “Balancing state-of-the-art functionality with a sense of calm and comfort is a delicate balance. The highly anticipated Leland South Congress project broke ground last week, and our #KirkseyAustin crew was on hand to celebrate! The new development by Intracorp will offer a high-end mixed-use experience at the corner of South Congress and Live Oak. Just last month, the sales office officially opened, and our team was there to commemorate the milestone as visitors got a glimpse of the space, which is a thoughtful representation of the building. Guests also got a closer look at the impressive 3D model, which offers a comprehensive view of the architecture, layout, and overall design, allowing visitors to visualize the development's unique features in detail.
