We have followed this mission since our founding in 1971. What began as a small commercial architecture firm has evolved into a diverse organization of ten specialized practice groups, each focusing on a particular business segment. With five decades of experience in architecture, design, interior design, master planning, branding and graphics, and programming — and projects around the world — Kirksey is a true, multidisciplinary firm with a diverse portfolio of projects.

Today and tomorrow, you can catch several members of the Kirksey team at the EdSpaces conference in Houston! Just this morning, Kirksey's Managing Director, PK-12 Practice, Nicola Springer, AIA, LEED AP, and talented PK12 design expert, Brian T., presented "Talking Back: a Language of Tension, Engagement, and Change" - a discussion on effective communication and Community Engagement strategies, which we employed at our Yellowstone Schools project. This afternoon, Nicola joins Humble ISD Kingwood Middle School's Principal, Michael Curls, and Instructional Coach, Kelly Wells, in a presentation titled "A Principal's Guide to Your New School." The topic explores ways architecture can help teachers and students optimize the use of their new facility. And tomorrow, you can join the Kirksey crew on the afternoon's Higher Ed EDfacility Tours! The Kirksey Architecture Team was proud to support Galveston Bay Foundation at this year’s Guardian Gala that honored John Kirksey and NRG Energy, and celebrated the groundbreaking of the Kirksey designed Gessner Education Center.
The highly anticipated Leland South Congress project broke ground last week, and our #KirkseyAustin crew was on hand to celebrate! The new development by Intracorp will offer a high-end mixed-use experience at the corner of South Congress and Live Oak. Just last month, the sales office officially opened, and our team was there to commemorate the milestone as visitors got a glimpse of the space, which is a thoughtful representation of the building. Guests also got a closer look at the impressive 3D model, which offers a comprehensive view of the architecture, layout, and overall design, allowing visitors to visualize the development's unique features in detail.
