From his early work as a Peer Navigator at POCAAN to making history as the NAACP’s first-ever LGBTQIA Chair, Deaunte has consistently championed those often left unheard. ?? Today, we are shining a light on Ricky Mogel, WRA/KCRC OG, KCRC Advisory Board member, and Oxford House Senior Outreach Coordinator. Ricky moved into his first Oxford House in 2005, and celebrated 20 years of recovery on January 15th! He is a certified Recovery Coach and has helped create multiple recovery coalitions that focus on uniting the various recovery support services, advocating policy change, and combating stigma.
