🔍 After 132 years hidden beneath Lake Superior, explorers have discovered the wreckage of the Western Reserve - one of the Great Lakes' first steel cargo ships. The 300-foot "inland greyhound" was considered cutting-edge technology in 1892, when steel ships were rare. Despite being touted as one of the safest vessels on the lakes, it tragically split in half during a storm, claiming 27 lives, including its owner's entire family.
