A stone fireplace anchors the new ‘living room,’ while subtle flooring patterns define zones and maintain cohesion. Samaritan Medical Center’s newly renovated Behavioral Health Unit provides a welcoming and bright space for patients seeking mental health care. The updated suite more than doubles the previous unit’s size, featuring 12 secure holding rooms and a central Nurse Station designed for improved visibility and security, and it is directly connected to the existing Emergency Department. Natural imagery and warm finishes create an inviting environment that supports recovery and promotes wellness. #HealthcareDesign

SUNY Upstate Medical University's Neurological Rehab facility in Liverpool involved an 18,400-square-foot renovation, transforming a college building into a state-of-the-art Neurological Rehabilitation facility. Designed with patient care in mind, the space features exam rooms, a pediatric care area, therapy spaces, staff amenities, and a 5,700-square-foot exercise area. This project brings innovative healthcare solutions to the Liverpool community, fostering healing and wellness. #HealthcareArchitecture #PatientCare #HealthAndWellness

We are proud to have received a 2024 Citation for Design for renovations at Solvay Union Free School District from AIA Central New York! Solvay High School’s auditorium and Media Center have been transformed to enhance functionality, performance, and accessibility. The Media Center was relocated and redesigned with a smaller footprint, offering flexible spaces for study and collaboration while maximizing shelving capacity. This relocation allowed the auditorium to be renovated to optimal acoustical performance, with warm maple panels, upgraded lighting and sound, and a reconfigured layout featuring 1,007 new seats upholstered in Solvay blue. The result is a modernized hub for learning and a reinvigorated auditorium for performances, ensuring these spaces meet the needs of students and the community for years to come. #Architecture #InteriorDesign #EducationDesign #AIACNY
