At Kimberly-Clark, we don’t take a “one size fits all” approach to care. We innovate our essential products to support the specific needs of our consumers at every age and stage of life. For World Prematurity Day, we’re spotlighting our Taejon facility team in South Korea for making Huggies? ultra-small diapers, the only diaper available for premature babies in the country. Through Yuhan-Kimberly, our Huggies? brand has donated more than 5.6 million of these diapers in just seven years since introducing the product line, benefiting about 37,800 babies. The donations are currently supplied to more than 30 general hospitals and university hospitals with neonatal intensive care units. In addition, parents who are unable to get help through the hospitals can obtain three bags per person through Yuhan-Kimberly’s MomQ online mall. By understanding how to meet the needs of our tiniest consumers, we’re helping more babies thrive around the globe. #BetterCareForABetterWorld

Recently, Kotex? Philippines launched the #FlexYourMood event to address the unrealistic expectations of constant productivity placed on women and foster open, supportive and real dialogue on menstruation. Attendees engaged via a panel discussion with Heart Evangelista, the country’s top actress, philanthropist and now Kotex brand ambassador, who spoke candidly about her mood changes when menstruating. For more than 100 years, Kotex has been a leader in providing innovative menstrual products – ensuring that periods never get in the way of any woman’s progress. Besides serving the needs of Filipina women with high-quality period care products like Kotex Luxe and Kotex Freedom, the brand is determined to also ensure that a period never gets in the way of a woman’s progress through purposeful initiatives like the #FlexYourMood event. Kimberly-Clark's U.S. employee resource group (ERG) for veterans and supporters, SALUTE, proudly sponsored the Old Glory Honor Flight missions for veteran family members of three of our employees, all of whom participated. The free, day-long missions fly veterans who served before 1975 to Washington, D.C., to visit military memorials and cemeteries. During the flight home, thousands of people greet the veterans who receive thank you letters from friends and family. To continue supporting the veterans, family members and volunteers during an emotional time, we donated enough Kleenex? Pocket Packs to stock flights for more than two years. Employees from our Neenah Cold Spring facility (NCSF) also participated in the 15th annual Pulling for Honor fundraiser to benefit the honor flight missions. The team pulled a 180,000-pound jetliner, placing fourth in the contest and raising more than $150,000 in partnership with other local organizations and individual contributors. Wayne B., Kimberly-Clark senior scientist and SALUTE ERG national co-chair, and his father, David, are both U.S. Navy veterans and participated in the honor flight during the summer. “The overwhelming support shown for our military veterans is moving and deeply appreciated by my father and all the returning veterans,” Wayne shared. “This experience will stay with us all for some time.” #VeteransDay

Forest Week 2024, about 100 of our team members, business partners and retailers from Malaysia gathered at Sunway XFarms for an immersive experience in urban farming and composting, embodying this year’s theme: “Small steps together create big change for all.” With support from the FSC? Malaysia office, participants explored the vital role of responsible sourcing in protecting our forests and supporting communities, biodiversity and economies.
