Today I completed a year of serving as Chair of Ankeny Business & Industry Collaborative (formerly Ankeny Economic Development Corporation). I also got to serve on a real estate development + economic development panel with two people I have the utmost respect for, Marcus Pitts & Derek Lord. During the panel, I had the chance to discuss the opportunities, challenges, and future of residential land development in Ankeny. In a room full of leaders in our community spanning business, civics and academia, it is clear why Ankeny has remained at the top of national fastest growing cities in the country lists over the past two decades.
