The KidWind Project has been working with educators to integrate clean energy into classrooms for 20 years!
关于我们
KidWind strongly believes that a hands-on approach to renewable energy science and engineering is key to understanding the promise and limits of clean energy. KIDWIND TEACHER WORKSHOPS introduce teachers to the science behind wind energy while giving them the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to introduce students to wind energy concepts using standards-based activities in an engaging, hands-on manner. KIDWIND CHALLENGES are events commonly held at conferences, workshops, educational events, wind industry events, and many others to help encourage the competitive nature of exploratory and inventive science. Students work in groups to design and construct different wind turbine configurations that are focused on maximizing power output. At the Challenge, the student teams are then judged in various categories to determine the winners. KidWind Challenge events help bring the science behind wind energy to classrooms and community events.
