I’m happy to share that I’ve started a new position as a Public Relations Intern and Volunteer at KidsRead2Kids! KidsRead2Kids is a nonprofit focused on making reading more accessible for neurodivergent learners. I've just finished reading and sharing this superb book KidsRead2Kids, featuring such wonderful advocates as Siena Castellon MBE and Connie Guglielmo. With contributions from experts like Dr Helen Ross, Amanda Morin, Marion Waldman and others, Alana Blumenstein and Carol Blumenstein provide literary resources to children, but so much more. Sections on lifestyle, diet, games, apps, mental health and much else besides, this is honestly a fantastic book. I can only recommend it. But what did I mean by "I've been reading and sharing it"? I wanted to make sure it really helps. So I shared it with kids themselves, going through some of the interactive activities and asking for their feedback. It was excellent. If you're looking for a book for (neurodivergent and other) young (perhaps struggling) readers, this is the one for you.
