Today marks 1,000 days of war in Ukraine. Since February 2022, Kidsave has delivered over 3,000 tons of humanitarian aid and helped to evacuate over 30,000 people to safety. Kidsave’s EMBRACE project is celebrating it’s one year anniversary today! Kidsave and EMBRACE wants all kids in foster care to thrive. Kids of color are overrepresented in foster care, stay in care longer and are removed more often from their families. Last year at this time we launched the one of a kind Kidsave-Gallup study, where we heard first hand perspectives and opinions of adults on the foster care system. One year later, we are celebrating new research, lived experience stories and the launch of a culturally responsive training at Kidsave!
