Kids Smiles’ outreach team was out in the community last week! Our team joined several local community partners at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Center for Health Equity and Community of Compassion CDC’s 3rd Back-to-School Community Health Partnership Clinic. We provided dental screenings and oral health resources to make sure students start the school year with healthy smiles.

Kids Smiles is proud to partner with Ed Snider Youth Hockey & Education, combining our passion for promoting children's oral health with their dedication to youth sports and development. This collaboration will create impactful oral health Public Service Announcements (PSAs) featuring prominent figures who champion children’s health and well-being. With support from Kids Smiles founder and board member, Dr. Joseph Greenberg, the PSAs feature our very own pediatric dentist, Dr. Lucienne Pino, and legendary former professional ice hockey goaltender Bernie Parent. Together, we are creating a powerful platform that educates and inspires children to take charge of their oral health. Stay tuned for the release of these PSAs, and join us in spreading the word about the importance of dental care. With partners like Ed Snider Youth Hockey & Education and advocates like Bernie Parent, we are confident that we can make a lasting impact on the oral health of children in our community.

We are excited to share that Kids Smiles was recently featured in a PHL17 news Community Spotlight segment, shining a light on our mission an impact on the community! The segment features Kids Smiles COO Mike Pugliese who highlights our commitment to ensuring uninsured and underinsured children have access to the dental care they need. It also describes our Education and Outreach program, which brings resources and education to schools and partner organizations throughout the community. We are incredibly grateful to the PHL17 team for giving us this platform to share our story.
