关于我们
Kids First Early Intervention (E.I.) is a program for children with identified disabilities or developmental delays from birth to (3) years old, serving families within the five boroughs of NYC. Once evaluated and found eligible for services, a team of professionals will develop an individualized treatment plan to address your child's needs. At Kids First E.I., our mission is to foster your child’s development so that he/she has the opportunity to reach his/her maximum potential. Our agency fosters the practice of embedded coaching - a collaborative approach between the interventionist and the family. This type of coaching provides caregivers with the necessary tools to encourage and incorporate supportive strategies in their children's daily routines. Ultimately aimed at fueling families with essential knowledge and skills for everyday practice, E.I. is unique from other forms of childhood therapy because it addresses developmental delays during children's formative years.

Babies typically develop pointing between 10-15 months, using it to express needs or engage in joint attention. However, children diagnosed with Autism may experience delays in reaching this milestone. Implementing targeted activities can aid in improving pointing abilities! #earlyintervention #pointing #autism
