Our dedication to these principles was on full display at the recent CMO Roundtable, where collaboration and knowledge-sharing took center stage. I had the privilege of presenting “The Talent Equation,” focusing on key strategies for retention, engagement, and upskilling. The intimate and engaged nature of this group fostered an open exchange of real-world examples, allowing this close circle of CMOs to discuss what truly drives success—and what falls short. These conversations are invaluable in shaping the future of legal marketing and business development. To close out the three-day event, we had the pleasure of co-hosting a cocktail reception with Mondaq (Megan Hill), bringing everyone together in a more informal setting to strengthen connections and continue the dialogue. KHS People LLC had the pleasure of attending a full-day conference presented by Inside Practice and hosted at Chapman and Cutler LLP. The event brought together forward-thinking speakers who explored AI’s growing impact on the legal industry, covering everything from emerging technology trends to talent acquisition for newly developing roles within law firms. As AI continues to shape the legal field, firms are adapting their hiring strategies to meet new demands. This conference provided valuable insights into how firms can identify, attract, and retain the right talent for the future. A huge thank you to Kevin Klein and his team for an informative and engaging day of learning! We appreciate the opportunity to stay ahead of these industry shifts and look forward to seeing how firms continue to evolve in this space.

I am excited to celebrate Cheyenne Cupp’s first year at KHS People LLC. Her impact on KHS People has been immense. I've had the privilege of having a front row seat to watch Cheyenne's growth, elevation, and how she pushes herself, in what feels like just 12 short months. Cheyenne has an incredible ability to bring both a personalized touch with all her client relationships while weaving in sound advice with a consulting mentality. She embodies KHS every day, and does this with unwavering passion and empathy. The most joyous part of having Cheyenne part of the KHS People family is watching how she has taken her senior leadership role to heart, always coming up with ideas, initiatives or processes. Her recent promotion to Senior Executive Recruiter has really let her shine as she took on yet another elevation: management. She has truly excelled. She is also always smiling and bringing a positive attitude into each day, and wearing her passion for her work on her sleeve. I am honored that she is part of KHS People in such an impactful way.
