It's a quiet week at KGSA while the girls on midterm break. We hope they're having a great time at home with their families!

Best wishes for a blessed Ramadan from the KGSA family. Our students and staff who observe the Islamic holy month of Ramadan will be fasting from dawn to dusk each day and will have the opportunity to gather for Iftar in the evening to share a meal together.

We're still basking in the glow of our trip to visit KGSA last week ? It was a pleasure to gift much-needed school supplies, sports gear, handmade dolls, and some sweet treats to the students ????????

Congratulations to the Class of 2024 ???? Last week we held a graduation ceremony for the Class of 2024 at KGSA. It was wonderful for our Foundation visitors from the US to join in this important milestone for the girls. From the class of 36 students, 9 will attend a 4-year university, 15 will pursue diploma certifications, and 12 will participate in a vocational school.

It was an honor to visit the homes of our student ambassadors. During regular school, the girls live in the dorm at KGSA, but during school breaks,, they are back home with their families in Nairobi's largest informal settlement, Kibera.

Our US visitors spent the day sightseeing in Nairobi, starting with a sunrise safari at Nairobi National Park. We also visited Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to see the elephants and giraffes, and then had a tour of the Kazuri Beads jewelry site.

The new classroom building was officially dedicated ?? Thank you to ALL of our supporters who made this happen with generous donations last year.
