Kayco has announced the closure of its Newark facility and the relocation to a state-of-the-art distribution center in Goshen, New York. Yisroel Rubelow, COO of Kayco, announced "this 700,000-square-foot facility is designed for maximum efficiency, featuring advanced supply chain management technology. It offers a seamless one-stop pickup system for both dry and refrigerated sku's. This streamlines logistics for improved service and cost-effectiveness for all customers, with cutting-edge automation and optimized workflows. The Goshen center enhances distribution capabilities while reducing carbon emissions with improved sustainability enhancements. This move strengthens Kayco’s ability to meet growing demand while maintaining its commitment to quality and efficiency in food distribution." ? According to Harold Weiss, long-time executive at Kayco, "the new facility is the next step in the evolution of the company. We will be able to move goods on a worldwide scale more efficiently with improved service levels and a greater assortment under one roof. This change will take effect on May 1st, 2025.
