Lewis is a Water Transfer Technician and has been with Keystone Clearwater Solutions since July 2024. "Lewis took it upon himself to remove all the bolts from the rock catcher pods on the offload and to clean them and clean the threaded frames they go through making it less of a hazard to tighten and loosen them for basket cleaning, which is done on every shift. This will reduce the risk of slippage resulting in hand injuries." "Gregory Morgan exemplified safety as a core value when he identified a brush fire caused by a 3rd party. Greg and the KCS crew quickly obtained fire extinguishers from their trucks and were able to safely extinguish the brush fire that started near the right of way and eliminate a potentially more severe fire that would have impacted the environment and area surrounding it." For this year’s toy drive we’re collecting for the children of North Carolina who were affected by Hurricane Helene. Clean, unwrapped toys, as well as winter clothing items including new hats, gloves and coats in any children’s size, will help us put a smile on a child’s face this Christmas season. Keystone Clearwater took part in the Annual CNX Clay Shoot on October 25th at Coal Ridge Sporting Clays in Weirton, WV. This year the CNX Foundation donated the proceeds of the shoot to school food pantries across Appalachia. The Foundation invests tangibly, impactfully, and locally in both urban and rural communities in the Appalachian Basin that face socio-economic challenges. Our supervisor, Jeffrey Rodriguez, noticed that I didn’t have any available rain protection to wear and gave me one of his own raincoats to wear until another supervisor brought in rain protection for me and the other crew members that didn’t have any.” Submitted by: Loren Council - Water Transfer Technician Matt Allen is a Sr. Water Transfer Technician and has been with Keystone Clearwater Solutions since May 2015 and he is Responsible! “Matt consistently goes above and beyond his job duties, always willing to lend a helping hand to colleagues and take on additional responsibilities. His positive attitude and dedication to his work make him a valuable asset to our team. Yesterday, one of our booster pumps threw a service code. Matt inspected the pump, contacted the operations supervisors and maintenance personnel, and ensured that a backup pump was available by shift change.
