关于我们
KeySavvy is a Public Benefit Corporation whose mission is to make it safer and easier for people to buy and sell cars on their own. We accomplish this through technology that is tailored to the peer-to-peer vehicle transaction, partnerships with trustworthy brands, and a company culture dedicated to helping our customers. For consumers: Sellers can include a KeySavvy payment link in their ad on any marketplace. Buyers can then use that link to securely pay online with their bank account, wire transfer, credit card, or Zelle. KeySavvy verifies the seller's ownership and the buyer's payment, guaranteeing a clear title to the buyer and payment to the seller. For marketplaces: KeySavvy is a payment platform built specifically to help vehicle marketplaces facilitate transactions. By integrating with KeySavvy, marketplaces can improve customer trust and increase revenue. Visit www.keysavvy.com/marketplaces to learn more.

One of the most confusing parts of the used EV tax credit is the "first transfer" rule. We found ourselves explaining it often, so we published a blog article with all of the frequently asked questions regarding this rule. To qualify for the used EV tax credit, the sale must be the first transfer after August 16, 2022 to someone other than the original owner. What if the vehicle was leased and the lease was bought out after August 16, 2022? What if the vehicle was transferred after August 16, 2022, but the buyer didn't qualify or didn't claim the credit? Why are the IRS guidelines the way they are? We explain these questions and more, along with references to guidance from the IRS. https://lnkd.in/gabnRPVD

If you owe more on your car loan than a buyer is willing to pay for your vehicle, you have negative equity. Don't worry, this is not uncommon! If you want to sell your car, you'll still want to maximize your sale price so that you minimize the extra amount you have to pay to your lender. https://lnkd.in/g6P_iNst

Is it safe to accept PayPal when selling a car? Even if you're willing to pay the 2.9% fee,?motor vehicles aren't eligible?for PayPal Buyer or Seller Protection, so PayPal will immediately deny any disputes. If you're using the free "friends and family" option to exchange funds, the buyer's payment could be reversed and the seller would be responsible for returning the funds to PayPal. It's not safe for the buyer, either, since PayPal doesn't make any guarantees that the seller actually owns the vehicle and the title is clear of any liens. Dive deeper in the latest post in our series about safe payment methods. https://lnkd.in/gafUyG2V
