Using the Power of Collaboration to End Homelessness
关于我们
Keys to Change, formerly known as The Human Services Campus, opened its doors in November 2005. Our mission is "Using the Power of Collaboration to End Homelessness." Located just west of downtown Phoenix, nearly 1,000 individuals per day seek services at the Campus. As a place, 15 non-profit organizations work in collaboration on the Campus to assist each individual's unique requirements to end their homelessness. As a non-profit organization, in addition to overseeing partner collaboration and Campus operations, Keys to Change provides programs that directly serve clients. These programs include Client Intake and Assessment at the Brian Garcia Welcome Center (the "front door" to the campus), Reunification with Family, Post Office Services, Bag Storage and Navigation to Housing. Our staff creates a customized housing plan for each individual, and connects people to all of our partner services on the campus, including identification, physical, dental and mental healthcare, shelter services, meals, benefits, homeless court and employment. Over 2,000 individuals were connected to housing in the past year.

We're advocating for state legislation that would bar municipalities from criminalizing homelessness under the disastrous #JohnsonVGrantsPass ruling. The template legislation includes the right to live on public property without discrimination, and would prevent municipalities from banning begging, food distribution, sleeping in cars on public property, and more. Last week, NHLC Senior Policy Director Eric Tars testified before the PA Joint Democratic Policy Committee to ensure Pennsylvania adopt the best, most effective policies on homelessness—and avoid adopting the worst—in the wake of the disastrous #JohnsonVGrantsPass decision from the Supreme Court. Read his full testimony and more about the legislation here:https://lnkd.in/gCKEXCHx

UnitedHealthcare Community & State of Arizona is honored to support outstanding Arizona community organizations like Keys to Change who provide much needed programs and services to those experiencing homelessness.
Thank you for this incredibly generous grant, UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Arizona. And thank you Frontdoors Media / Frontdoors Magazine for sharing the good news! ???? "The grant to support critical client services comes at a crucial time as contract funding made available through COVID-19 emergency relief is decreasing or ending over the next fiscal year. Funds from United Healthcare Community Plan of Arizona will be used for programs including intake and assessment, housing and behavioral health navigation, and housing referral. Additionally, the funding helps with diversion, which focuses on reuniting people experiencing homelessness with family or friends to prevent the need to enter the homeless services system." #EndHomelessness #BeLikeMike #Community #CollaborationIsKey?? https://lnkd.in/gGU7XV2n

Thank you so much, HomeAid Phoenix! This is amazing and we’re grateful for all you do! ?? ??
Thank you to everyone that participated in our Summer Essentials Drive throughout the month of August. Through your generosity, we were able to donate $2,250 to our nonprofit partner, Keys to Change, to be used toward the purchase of bottled water for those they serve throughout their campus. In addition to the cash donation, we also dropped off 1,564 heat-relief items, including lip balm, sunscreen, hats, umbrellas, sunglasses and electrolyte powder packets. Keys to Change believes in using the power of collaboration to create solutions to end homelessness. We appreciate the amazing work they are doing to help those experiencing or at risk of homelessness in the valley. #homeaid #homeaidphoenix #summeressentialsdrive #keystochange #thankyou
