We're nearing the finish line on this 65,000 CFM Aluminum Chip Collection System! To make a long story short...aluminum "chips" are generated by an Ingersoll Machine Tools (World Class Machine Manufacturer) Ingot Scalper. We capture the chips, chop them up and send to an Airecon Manufacturing Corp. Cyclone Separator where they are collected and diverted to storage bins then conveyed to a briquetting system to be recycled. The conveyance air is sent to a Donaldson 608 RF Baghouse for final filtration before going to atmosphere. Our team gave this project everything we had and we're especially proud of Tyler Schumacher for his strong effort, sleepless nights and commitment to making it happen! Over the past few weeks, our team had the privilege of hosting our intern Anna Ford through Dublin City Schools, Young Professionals Academy. The weeks were packed full of insightful conversations with members of each of our departments, which included Operations, Finance, and Marketing. Thank you Anna! I'm excited to announce the successful completion of my first mentorship through Dublin City Schools, Young Professionals Academy at Ketchum & Walton Co.. Spending the past six weeks shadowing and interning with Jay M. Ford, President and CEO, has been an incredible privilege. I am deeply grateful to Jay and the entire K&W team for their contributions to this enriching oppurtunity. I was particularly impressed by the company culture, which truly embodies the core values of One Team, Be Bold, Be Humble, and Ownership Mindset. This cultivated an incredibly positive and a wonderful environment for my internship. I would like to highlight some valubale conversations I was able to have during my time at K&W.
