Recently, our Union 1 center had a special celebration for Veteran’s Day, honoring our acting center manager Alex Barrientos, P.T., DPT, who served for six years of active duty as a Navy Corpsman. Recently, the ReVital team from KRC Edison were honored to support the American Cancer Society! Therapists Anna Marie Slivka, Allison Gerbino, Kayla Skolnik, Tova Griffel, Alina Hedaya and Brian Foster participated in the Strides Against Breast Cancer, Central NJ. It was great to engage with the community and raise awareness about cancer rehabilitation services which help people live well beyond cancer and are offered at 67 Kessler locations throughout NJ.

Kiely Konyak, PT, DPT, started her position as a physical therapist at our KIR Outpatient Hub in the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation Hospital in West Orange on October 7, 2024. After Kiely’s successful interview, she took the initiative to refer her classmate, Ariel Cifuentes, PT, DPT, who also interviewed. Ariel was subsequently hired for a physical therapist role at our Kessler Rehabilitation Center Bedminster location.
