Another milestone weekend in the books for #TeamKesem! ?? ?? Join us in celebrating and congratulating our fantastic group of 30 runners who crossed the finish line for children impacted by a parent's cancer earlier this month at the Run Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend events and the TCS New York City Marathon. Made up of Kesem alumni, community supporters, and more, they trained, prepared, and raised nearly $70,000 to help us ensure the delivery of our summer camp programs and year-round services at no cost to families served. We're continuously inspired by their passion and generosity, and we're honored to cheer them on along their race journeys. They feel free to express themselves fully; to cry, play, scream, or laugh out loud, safe and secure in the knowledge that these newfound friends uniquely understand what they’re going through at home. For a magical week during the summer, they can just be kids together. They can just be themselves. They can just…be. On October 25, we gathered in Los Angeles for our annual Magic Makers Ball, a celebration of joy, togetherness, and community benefitting Kesem's mission to ensure no child has to face a parent's cancer alone.? Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner, danced on the beach, and shared impactful stories about their Kesem journeys. Because of your generous support, we raised over $200,000 to help provide and deliver our summer camp programs and year-round services, at no cost to families served. Thank you, thank you, thank you. A look back at an incredible weekend in the Windy City! ?? We were thrilled to welcome #TeamKesem to the Bank of America Chicago Marathon earlier this month, where 18 runners and community members crossed the finish line to make more #KesemMagic for families nationwide. ? Made up of #KesemAlumni, former #CampKesem campers, Advisory Board members, and new friends, too - this passionate and inspiring team fundraised, trained, traveled, and raced 26.2 to raise nearly $50,000 for children facing a parent's cancer. ??
