?? NEW PUBLICATION ?? We are excited to share Keseb’s new publication: A Primer on Building and Evolving Pro-democracy Civil Society Coalitions. This primer is intended to provide actionable insights and a provocation for civil society actors who are interested in launching, supporting, or participating in a coalition to achieve pro-democracy goals. The contents are also relevant to those who are seeking to build their knowledge base in this type of collective action approach. As a preview, the Primer explores the below five strategic questions: ??Strategic Question #1: Is the coalition fit for purpose? ??Strategic Question #2: Does the coalition embrace and strategically manage the diversity of actors, roles, perspectives, and strategies required to succeed? ??Strategic Question #3: Is the coalition equipped to manage potentially competing incentives and power dynamics? ??Strategic Question #4: Does the coalition have a path for building alliances with key actors and institutions outside of the coalition? ??Strategic question #5: How does the coalition build and sustain enthusiasm and commitment? We invite you to read the Primer and share it with your networks! https://lnkd.in/eNT5RkUW Andrew Clarke | Yordanos Eyoel | Aqeelah Hassen #democracychampions #insights #coalitions
