In the past, engineered plastic cooling towers were too small for many industrial processes, making galvanized metal cooling towers virtually a “given” for most applications above 250 tons. Now, that situation has completely changed. Our new TMX series towers come in at over 20 feet long and have a cooling capacity of between 300 to 3,250 tons. The tower’s sump is molded from a single, seamless piece of engineered plastic and all models meet the ASHRAE 90.1 energy efficiency standard. The TMX series is made from corrosion-resistant engineered plastic and its seamless design means no joints or welds which are prone to leaks and maintenance issues. These larger engineered plastic designs can also be manufactured with special antimicrobial resins that are fully compounded into the base cooling tower structural material as well as the casing, fill and drift eliminator – effectively inhibiting harmful microbial growth. Much like our TM series, the TMX towers offer modular options that can be strung together to meet the needs of some of the largest operators. And they come with the same 20-year warranty!!!
