Exciting news. Our founder has been selected to Co-Chair the Consumer Technology Association’s new Women’s Health Technologies Working Group as its Co-Chair. The group will focus on creating standards, best practices, and technical reports in the realm of women’s health technology, while also guiding other teams within CTA’s R11 Group on how to incorporate women’s health considerations. The CTA has a storied history of producing industry standards from Airplane Mode to Closed Captioning to Accessibility Standards. Congrats Sheena and we are excited about the work this important group will do for the future of women’s health and digital technologies.
With an increased awareness in women’s health, I am happy to announce that I have been selected to lead the Consumer Technology Association’s new Women’s Health Technologies Working Group as its Co-Chair. The group will focus on creating standards, best practices, and technical reports in the realm of women’s health technology, while also guiding other teams within CTA’s R11 Group on how to incorporate women’s health considerations. Along with my Co-Chair ( Beenish Zia), committee members, and CTA Manager Madlyn Kaufman, we are following a long tradition of industry leadership of CTA producing industry standards from Airplane Mode to Closed Captioning to Accessibility Standards - we are excited about what the future holds for women’s health and digital technologies. If you interested in contributing to this effort, contact the CTA team at [email protected]. Stay tuned for some exciting updates on the work being developed by the group.
